^Lot 631 IWI / Magnum Research Desert Eagle .40 S&W #423162

Often called 'Jericho,' or 'Baby Eagle,' an Israeli made DA/SA semi-automatic pistol chambered in .40 Smith & Wesson, produced by Israel Weapon Industries Ltd. Imported by Magnum Research Inc. out of Pillager, MN. Pistol features a black oxide finish, 4-1/2" chrome lined polygonal rifled barrel, dovetailed fixed blade front sight with white dot, dovetailed Novak stye rear sight with two white dots, accessory rail on dust cover, serrated slide stop, serrated ambidextrous slide mounted manual thumb safety/decocker, smooth curved trigger, serrated front trigger guard, undercut trigger guard, full-length metal guide rod, external hammer with serrated spur, serrated push-button magazine release, extended beavertail, slightly beveled magazine well, steel frame with serrated grip straps, and two-piece textured black synthetic grips with IWI insignias. Pistol exhibits approximately 97% of its original black oxide finish showing edge wear, and thinning on the bottom of the trigger guard and the backstrap. Metal displays no rust or deformation. The action is smooth and crisp, and the bore is bright with strong rifling. Plastic grips are also in excellent condition. Inside the magazine well, is some brown residue or dirt around the bottom. Pistol includes the original factory foam lined hard case with extra black rubber Hogue wrap around pebble textured grip.
